एक
नादान सा दिल है
कुछ उदास सी कहानी है
खुद अपनी ही ज़ुबान से
किसी क़द्रदान को सुनानी है
उजड़ा हुआ गुलिस्ताँ है
गुज़र सी गयी रवानी है
खुद अपने ही हाथों से
कोई डाली फिर सजानी है
तमाम हो चली ज़िंदगी है
बेवजह फ़ना हुई जवानी है
खुद अपनी ही तन्हाई से
एक दास्तान फिर चुरानी है
कुछ उदास सी कहानी है
खुद अपनी ही ज़ुबान से

For the lesser mortals like myself, I've also wasted my life
in useless pursuits like an MBA from IMT, Ghaziabad and
working with various MNCs.... Based in Delhi, even today
I'm as involved in the same insanity as ever.
This blog is my humble attempt to at last do
something constructive in life and be a
small insignificant part of the great
'Encyclopaedia of Emotions'
that we call SHAYARI.
